About Outside the Box Primitives

Robin Armstrong Seeber

Art– always a part of her life, Inspiration– Her parents were her biggest fans, and her 6 children, and 7 grandchildren also support her in her passion.

“Self taught” we tag it, but with successes and failures, having been taught and mistaught, inspired, uninspired, led and misled all by “self taughters,” Robin has found her niche creating whimsical folk art dolls.

Outside the Box Primitives dolls have been published in many popular craft and doll magazines. The cloth dolls are available as one-of-a-kind from her website. Sign up below to receive emails of new and unique art.

Robin is excited and honored to bring exclusive designs to you through Bethany Lowe Design Co.

You can find her reproductions in fine gift shops across the globe.

Robin's creations live in private collections in more than 8 countries around the world.

About Us

Each OTBP witch is unique and one of a kind.

Folk Art Dolls

Dolls are made with 100% cotton fabrics, and the best quality that money can buy.  Each doll is an original design. They vary from primitive to folk art, and steampunk to gothic. They range from 6" tall to 30" tall, and are for collecting and displaying, and not meant for children's play, as they have small parts. Each piece of art comes signed and dated by Robin Seeber.

Primitive rabbits, known as OTBP Hoppers, are a favorite of collectors.

Primitives

Primitive simply means "simple". OTBP primitives are anything but simple, as no detail is forgotten. The primitive style doll brings a feeling of warmth and coziness into your decor, with memories of days gone by.

Ornaments

Ornaments and pins are favorites of collectors. They are keepsakes, great gifts, grab bag items, and primitive folk art has been loved for centuries.
